[Last Sermon - Save The Best For The Last]

Commonly we will start our speech the best way we could & end it with an important message. Lets read what our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w says when he ended his last sermon on 9th Zulhijjah 10 years after Hijrah (migration from Makkah to Madinah) in the Uranah Valley of mount Arafah.

"All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people”

Lets extract some lesson from his last sermon. Prophet Muhammad s.a.w commanded us here;

"All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again;..."

Have we convey his words to others? He has told us how important it was to convey Islamic message to mankind because he has been sent as a mercy for mankind. Have we?

"...Be my witness, O ALLAH, that I have conveyed your message to your people”

Can we truly says in front of Allah in the day of judgement that we have conveyed His message to others just exactly how Prophet ask Allah to be his witness that he have conveyed His message to others?

Let ponder upon this short lesson extracted from our beloved Prophet Muhammad s.a.w last sermon....
